Steven Pacheco Raposo

When I work with people, the most important value I look for is AUTHENTICITY, TRUSTWORTHINESS and INTEGRITY. If there was anyone who had those qualities slam dunk, it was Steven. Not because of our working relationship, but it was his relationship with his peers and his team. He raised his team's quality of work by inspiring, encouraging, teaching and leading them to the best of their abilities. Steven ensured that the team was always supported and their loyalty to him just proves how great of a leader he is. This became even more apparent during our workshops together, as our teams were able to complete an integration so seamlessly in the matter of two days. Steven's dedication and hard work is undeniable and I have been so honored to have crossed paths with him. I truly hope that we will cross paths again one day. And for anyone who will have the opportunity to work with Steven... You are in for one of the best experiences of your career.

Hard work and roadblocks do not stop someone like Steven! He comes in guns blazing but you can be sure that your problems will be over before you even thought you had them 😉 . He is a great example to others and everyone looks up to him. He has amazing communication and negotiating skills; he can work wonders! This is a person that I look up to and hopefully someday I can acquire the same set of skills as him. I hope that I get the chance to work with him in the future!

I worked under Steven when he was a Director at Ormuco. Steven has in depth technical background, he sets the bar high for his team while having fun. He is very passionate about everything he touches and can easily tackle many projects at the same time. Working with him has been rewarding and I got to learn a lot on execution and leadership while having an entrepreneur mindset. Great mentor if you have a chance to work with him. Definitely one of those guy I remember having an impact on my career.

I had the pleasure to work with Steven Raposo who steps up to a challenge. I've seen him quickly grasp difficult situations, formulate a high-level plan and rally the team around that will promptly execute. All of this is done while open to suggestions and having the foresight to ask the correct questions to help clear a path that will allow any team to be successful. His strong background in IT allows him to be an outstanding IT manager that will help any team lucky enough to have him.

J’ai eu le plaisir de travailler avec Steven quand il était directeur de l’équipe mobile à la Banque Nationale du Canada et je n’ai que des éloges à lui faire. Steven est organisé, méthodique, rigoureux et avec une très belle approche humaine. Il sait tirer le meilleur de son équipe pour l’aider à la faire grandir à titre individuel et collectif. Une autre de ses grandes forces est sa connaissance technique poussée qui lui permet de rapidement comprendre les enjeux de développement / d’architecture afin de guider l’équipe vers sa prochaine étape : technologiquement et méthodologiquement parlant. Bref, je n’ai que trop rarement eu des directeurs de son calibre : inspirant, fiable, respectueux. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

Steven was my manager for about a year. Very quickly, he trusted me and helped me in achieving my professional goals. His technical knowledge as a manager and his desire to improve processes in difficult contexts are what sets him apart. It would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future!

I worked under Steven at Ormuco. In his time there, he managed to orchestrate the recovery of a failing project that was critical to the success of the company as a whole. Making it look almost effortless, he came up with a plan that broke the massive problems into incremental, easy to complete milestones, that turned the whole project around in under 3 months. In that time, he also managed to complete turn around the moral of the department, and gave us confidence that we could get the job done. He's the type of leader who takes the blame for the team's failures, and gives them all the credit for their successes. It was a joy to work with Steven, and he set the bar very high for what makes a good manager.
